Diagnostics
To avoid risk of electrical shock, personal injury, or death, disconnect electrical power source to unit, unless test
procedures require power to be connected. Discharge capacitor through a resistor before attempting to service.
Ensure all ground wires are connected before certifying unit as repaired and/or operational.
Ice Problems
Jammed cubes (small or oversized cubes)
Hollow cubes
Ice build-up on ejector blades
Cubes falling back into mold during ejection
Cubes falling over back of ice maker
Power Problems
No power to ice maker at connector socket
No power to water valve
Water Problems
No water to refrigerator
No water to ice maker
Clogged water valve
Insufficient water to ice maker
(with correct fill time)
Low water pressure at supply
Low water pressure at water valve
Excessive water pressure
Low water fill volume
Excessive water fill volume
Water overflows fill cup
Water overflows mold
Leaky water valve
Temperature Problems

Adjust fill level or level ice maker or refrigerator
Adjust low fill or remove restrictions in supply line
Level ice maker or refrigerator
Remove obstructions to air flow at fill end so it freezes before
thermostat end
Usually caused by hollow cubes

Check if fill cup is displaced and blocking ice
Fix fill cup or replace ice maker
