    • Dynamic Range Control setting • Adjustable display brightness * In catalogs and on packaging, the letter added to the end of the product name indicates the color of the DV-CP802. Specifications and operation are the same regardless of color.

    • The DV-CP802 cannot play DVD-VR discs recorded with Copy Once permission. • The DV-CP802 does not support disc types not listed. • The DV-CP802 supports 8 cm and 12 cm discs. • Don’t use discs with an unusual shape, such as those shown below, because you may damage the DV-CP802.

DISC indicator (24) The number of the currently selected disc appears here. CHAIN M, CD, DVD & ALL indicators (34) Short for CHAIN MODE, the CHAIN M indicator appears when the Chain mode function is on.

    • Prolonged display of the same picture or menu may cause irreparable damage to your TV screen called screen burn-in. To prevent this, don’t display the same frame for too long. The DV-CP802 features a screen saver to protect your TV from the effects of burn-in (page 57).

    DIMMER RC-521DV Using JPEG CDs JPEG The DV-CP802 supports JPEG CDs, so you can view your photos on TV either individually or as a slideshow. Load and select a JPEG CD. Depending on the type of JPEG disc, either the first nine pictures appear in thumbnail-size or the Disc Navigator appears.

    Remedy Connect the power cord to a suitable wall outlet (page 21). Turn off the DV-CP802, wait five seconds, then try turning it on again. If that fails, disconnect the power cord from the wall outlet, wait five seconds, reconnect it, then try turning it on again.
