Auto control

AC Smart can automatically control the indoor unit and ventilator connected to the network based on
current temperature and set temperature automatically.
Auto control menu provides 3 functions, as follows, as the auto control function.
Temperature limit operation
Temperature limit operation is the function to maintain the temperature of the space where the air
conditioner is installed within a certain temperature range (+4°C ~ -4°C).
To execute the temperature limit operation function, the user enters the maximum and minimum
temperature as follows. AC Smart operates as follows based on the entered value.
• When the indoor temperature is higher than the set temperature, the air conditioner runs the cool
operation to drop the temperature below the temperature set for the space. The temperature range
that can be set is 25°C~40°C.
• When the indoor temperature is lower than the set temperature, the air conditioner runs the heat
operation to raise the temperature above the temperature set for the space. The temperature range
that can be set is 1°C~16°C.
To execute the temperature limit operation function, you must set the maximum and minimum
temperature, and the temperature reference.
• You can set the maximum temperature in the range of 25°C ~ 40°C (Default: 40°C).
• You can set the temperature difference in the range of 1°C~16°C (Default: 5°C).
Temperature reference can be set by one of the following methods.
• Operating unit average: This is the method of operating the temperature limit operation function
based on the average temperature of the operating indoor units within the group.
• Fixed: This is the method of operating the temperature limit operation function based on the
temperature detected from the first registered indoor unit within the group.
When the set value or temperature reference changes during the temperature limit operation function,
the changed setting is reflected when operating mode (Cool, heat) changes.
