Engine Troubleshooting

< If the Engine stalls, or does not start,
check the following >
1. That the engines is started in
accordance with the starting
procedure in this manual.
2. That there is sufficient Fuel in the
tank.
3. That the Engine Stop Switch is in the
"RUN" position – If the Switch is in
the "OFF" position, please follow the
procedure below.
(a) Leave the Engine Stop switch in the
"OFF" position.
(b) Make sure the Choke is fully open
and fully open the Throttle.
(c) Turn the Ignition Switch to "ON".
(d) Engage the Starter for 5 – 10
Seconds to crank the engine.
(e) Now, set the Engine Stop switch to
"RUN" and follow the starting
procedure elsewhere in this manual.
Breather Cleaning Procedure
1. Place an oil pan under the Breather
Drain.
2. Remove the Drain Plug and remove
all build-up inside the Breather Drain.
3. Refit the Breather Drain Plug to the
correct torque.
