General Safety Instructions

Read this manual thoroughly before first use and keep it in a safe place for
future reference, along with the completed warranty card, purchase receipt
and carton. The safety precautions enclosed herein reduce the risk of fire,
electric shock and injury when correctly adhered to.
Follow all instructions and take notice of all the warnings.
To reduce the risk of electric shock, do not remove
the cover (or back).
This unit contains no user-serviceable parts inside.
Refer all servicing to qualified service personnel only.

• Only connect this TV to a mains socket with a protective earthing connection.
• To prevent damage which may result in fire or an electric shock hazard, do not
expose this appliance to rain or moisture.
• Do not change or modify the appliance in any way.
• Only use the attachments/accessories specified by the manufacturer.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

If a television is not positioned in a sufficiently stable location, it can be potenitially hazardous due to falling. Many
injuries,particularly to children, can be avoided by taking simple precautions such as:
Using cabinets or stands recommended by the manufacturer of the television.
Only using furniture that can safely support the television.
Ensuring the television is not overhanging the edge of the supporting furniture.
Not placing the television on tall furniture(for example, cupboards or bookcases) without anchoring both the
furniture and the television to a suitable support.
Not standing the televisions on cloth or other materials placed between the television and supporting furniture.
Educating children about the dangers of climbing on furniture to reach the television or its controls.
