Please read, follow and retain the operating
instructions!
This appliance is intended for domestic and
not industrial use.

Risk of electric shock!
Connect and operate the appliance only
in accordance with the specifications on the
rating plate.
Keep children away from the appliance.
Use the appliance inside and at room
temperature only.
Do not use the appliance if the power cord or
appliance is damaged.
If a fault occurs, immediately pull out the mains
plug.
To prevent injury, repairs to the appliance, such
as replacing a damaged power cord, should be
carried out by the Siemens or NESPRESSO
customer service only.
Do NOT
- bring the power cord into contact with hot
parts
- pull the power cord over sharp edges
- carry the appliance by the power cord.
Do not place the appliance on or near hot
surfaces, e.g. hotplates.
Never immerse the appliance or mains cable
in water.
Do not lift the appliance by the cup rail 10.

Risk of injury!
The warming plate 11 becomes hot, do not
touch.
Do not place fingers in the capsule cage 24.

Risk of scalding!
The nozzle for hot water/steam 15 and the
CAPPUCCINO /CAFFELATTE frothing
device 14 become very hot. Take hold of the
nozzles by the plastic part only and not by the
metal parts.
Never leave the appliance unattended while it is
switched on!

If steam is drawn several times in succession,
the drip tray 16 and the drip grille 17 may
become very hot due to evaporation of the
steam.
