[1234]: Displayed when numeric entry mode is
selected.
[AÄÅ2]: Displayed when extended entry mode is
selected.
Press to switch the character entry mode. Press
CHAR
[ ] to change between uppercase and lowercase
character entry.
See page 63 for a list of all available characters.
Correcting a Mistake
To correct a mistake, press
the cursor to the desired position, then follow one of the
procedures below.

To add a character or number, press the
appropriate dial key.
–
To erase the selected character or number, press
[ ].
To erase all characters and numbers, press and hold
[ ].

Editing Entries

1.
Search for the desired phonebook entry (see
page 35).
2.
Press .
EDIT
3.
Edit the name if necessary, then press [ENTER].
4.
Press [ ] or [ ] to select the line ("TEL", "IP(IP
Address)", "IP(SIP Ext. No.)", or "IP(SIP
URI)") that will be used when you call the entry,
then press .
SELECT
5.
Edit the phone number, IP address, SIP extension
number or SIP URI if necessary, then press
[ENTER] or .
SAVE
6.
Press [MENU].

•
If you do not press any buttons for 1 minute, the
unit will return to standby mode.
