f Replace damaged power cords immediately. Incorrect
assembly can cause a fire or electric shock.
f Do not charge the batteries in damp or wet areas. Do
not expose the charger to rain or snow. Do not attempt
to charge the battery if it is cracked or damaged – risk
of fire, electric shock and/or short circuiting.
f Charging temperature: 0 to 45°C. Storage temperature:
max. 49°C. Higher or lower temperaturs can damage
the battery. Do not put the battery charger on flammable
surfaces or near flammable materials when charging
the battery.
f The adapter, charger and battery become hot when
charging. Do not place the appliance on soft surfaces
that can prevent the circulation of air – risk of
overheating. Unplug the power cord immediately if the
charger or battery starts to smell abnormally, smoke
or melt. Do not use the charger or battery again.
f Do not use accessories other than those recommended
or sold by the manufacturer. The use of other accessories
can result in fire, electric shock or personal injury.
Battery care
Warning! When the battery is not is use keep it away
from other metal objects such as paperclips, coins, keys,
nails, screws and other small metal objects that can short
circuit the terminals. Short circuiting can result in fire and/
or personal injury. Do not expose the battery to naked
flames or high temperatures, risk of explosion.
Disposal of used batteries
Important! Never attempt to modify or open the battery
– risk of fire and/or personal injury. Before disposing of the
battery, put heavy-duty tape over the battery terminals to
prevent short circuiting. Lithium-ion batteries
Recycle used batteries in accordance with local regulations.
Removing the battery
Run the tool until the battery is completely discharged.
1. Undo the screws on the casing with a Phillips
screwdriver.
2. Open the casing by lifting it up from the front end of
the tool.
3. Release the wires from the power switch.
4. Remove the battery and put heavy-duty tape over the
battery terminals, or put the battery in a plastic bag, to
prevent short-circuiting.
5. Recycle used batteries in accordance with local
regulations.

ATTACHMENT ASSEMBLY

1. Pull the rubber cap off the tool (Fig.C).
2. Align the attachment with the end of the tool. Firmly
push the attachment onto the tool until it is securely
fastened (Fig.D).
3. Place the corkscrew onto the cork, switch the forward/
reverse button to forward position, then press the on/
off switch. Meanwhile, hold the bottle tightly (Fig.E).
4. You can find the cork is well pulled out automatically
from the bottleneck (Fig.F).
5. Switch the forward/reverse button to reverse position,
then press the on/off switch. You can find the cork is
well dropped out (Fig.G).

INSTALLATION

Dismantling
To remove accessories, turn the lock ring in the direction
of the arrow and pull the accessory out from the tool.
Carefully press the rubber cap on the tool.

OPERATION

Charging the battery
The battery for this power tool only has a low charge on
delivery. Charge the battery before using it for the first time.
Plug the mains adapter into a power outlet and connect the
other end to the DC connector on the tool.
It normally takes 3-5 hours to fully charge the battery. It
can take up to 7 seven hours the first time it is charged,
depending on the ambient temperature and battery
charging status.
Before using for the first time
Fully charge the battery (5–7 hours) and use the tool until
the battery is discharged and the tool starts moving more
slowly. Charge the battery for 5-7 hours and use the tool
until the battery is discharged again. Repeat this charging
cycle 4 or 5 times to prevent memory effect. The battery
can then be charged normally.
Important! The charger does not have overcharge
protection. Do not charge the appliance for too long. There
is a risk of the damaging batteries if they are overcharged.
Unplug the charger power cord after charging.
PREPARATIONS
Starting/stopping
f Start the tool by pressing the power switch.
f Switch off the tool by releasing the power switch.
Fitting bits
Important! Unplug the charger and check that the
direction selector is in locked position.
Bits
Only use single bits with a minimum length of 25 mm.
Shorter bits can get stuck and be more difficult to remove.
Power switch
Start the tool by pressing the power switch. Keep the
power switch pressed for continuous use.
Note: The tool does not have variable speed.
