This device can be used to play DVDs, video
CDs (VCD), super video CDs (SVCD), commer-
cial audio CDs and MP3 CDs.
Risk of severe damage to
the DVD drive!
Noncircular contoured CDs
f
(shape CDs) must not be used.
Do not affix stickers or labels to
f
the discs. These could peel off
and damage the DVD drive.
Inserting 2 DVDs/CDs simulta-
f
neously damages the DVD drive.
Take care that you always insert
only one DVD/CD and make sure
that there is no DVD/CD already
in the DVD drive.
If there is already a DVD/CD in
the DVD drive, the DVD symbol
is shown in the display.
If the DVD/CD is inserted at a
f
slant, the DVD/CD will not enter
the DVD drive correctly. This can
damage the DVD/CD.
Take care to always insert the
DVD/CD straight.

This device is intended for the playback of
DVDs with the country code applying to your
region.
CD-Rs and CD-RWs (CDs you have burned
yourself) can usually be played. Due to the
varying quality of CDs, however, Bosch cannot
guarantee the proper functioning of all CDs.
To ensure proper functioning, use only CDs
with the Compact Disc logo. Copy-protected
CDs can cause playback problems. Bosch
cannot guarantee the proper functioning of
copy-protected CDs!
Media you have created yourself, such as VCD/
SVCD, DVD±R and DVD±RW, can usually be
played.
Bosch cannot guarantee a perfect compatibil-
ity and flawless playback due to the wide
variety of available recordable media and
software used to create and write these media.
