Problem
The lower thread
breaks.
Skipped stitches
occur.
The upper thread
does not tighten.

Possible Cause
The lower thread tension is too strong.
The bobbin is not turning smoothly.
Too much thread is wound around the
bobbin.
The needle is installed incorrectly.
The needle is bent, or the needle tip is
broken.

The presser foot pressure is too weak.
