Brake Cable Removal
Free the brake cable from the brake lever.

Pull the brake cable out of the frame.

Adjust the brake lever free play.
Brake Cable Lubrication
Whenever the cable is removed, or in accordance with the Periodic
Maintenance Chart, lubricate the brake cable.

Apply a thin coating of grease to the cable upper end.
Use a commercially available pressure cable lubricator to lubricate
With the cable disconnected at both ends, the cable should move
freely in the cable housing.
