1. Press and hold the push button q and turn the pulley w
in the direction of normal rotation. The push button q
will retract in another step.
2. Now turn the pulley w either forward or back to reset the
pulley w stitch length scale to the index.
3. Release the push button q. (Check that the pushbutton
q is raised up.)
NOTE: Do not touch the pushbutton q while the machine is
operating.

If using the puller, adjust the puller feed amount at the same
time. (Refer to page 78.)
1. Den Knopf q gedrückt halten und das Rad w in die
normale Drehrichtung drehen. Der Knopf q rastet in der
nächsten Stellung ein.
2. Danach mit dem Rad w die gewünschte Stichlänge der
Skala auf die Markierung einstellen.
3. Den Knopf q loslassen. (Kontrollieren, ob der Knopf q
w
ausgerastet ist.)
HINWEIS: Bei laufender Maschine darf der Knopf q nicht
berührt werden.

Bei Verwendung der Ziehvorrichtung muß gleichzeitig auch
deren Transport eingestellt werden. (Siehe Seite 78.)
1. Appuyer et maintenir enfoncé le bouton-poussoir q, puis
tourner la poulie w dans le sens de rotation normal. Le
bouton-poussoir s'enfoncera davantage.
2. Tourner la poulie w soit en avant soit en arrière, afin de
régler l'echelle de longueur de point w de la poulie sur
l'index.
3. Relâcher le bouton-poussoir q. (Vérifier que le bouton-
poussoir q soit bien relevé.)
REMARQUE: Ne pas toucher le bouton-poussoir q pendant
que la machine fonctionne.

Si l'on utilise le dispositif de tirage, régler la quantité
d'entraînement de tirage en même temps. (Se reporter à la
page 80.)
1. Oprimir y sujetar el botón pulsador q y girar la polea w
en el sentido de giro normal. El botón pulsador q volverá
a su posición original en otro paso.
2. A continuación, girar la polea w hacia adelante o hacia
atrás para volver a programar la escala de longitud de
puntada de la polea w en el índice.
3. Soltar el botón pulsador q. (Verificar que el botón pulsador
q está levantado.)
NOTA: No oprimir el botón pulsador q mientras la máquina
está funcionando.
