Assembly
Attaching the Hand Strap (see figure A)
The hand strap 5 is used to secure the screwdriver with BBQ fan to your
wrist. This prevents the screwdriver with BBQ fan from accidentally falling
into the barbecue.
– Thread the thin end of the hand strap 5 through the eyelet of the screw-
driver.
– Guide the carrying strap through the thin loop and tighten the hand
strap.
Mounting the Nozzle (see figure B)
– Mount the nozzle 1 onto the BBQ fan 2.
The detent 6 must be heard to engage.
Mounting the BBQ Fan (see figures C–D)
– Before mounting the BBQ fan 2, the rubber cap 7 of the screwdriver
must be pulled off toward the front.
– Afterwards, mount the BBQ fan onto the screwdriver.
The BBQ fan must be heard to engage.
Dismounting (see figures F1
Wear safety gloves and do not touch the hot nozzle. Danger of burn-
ing.
– Turn the release ring 3 in rotation direction and pull off the BBQ fan
toward the front.
– Afterwards, mount the rubber cap 7 onto the screwdriver again.
Operation
Kindling/Lighting Up Charcoal Barbecues (see figure E)
The screwdriver with BBQ fan 2 may only be operated with mounted noz-
zle 1 and hand strap 5 (see "Assembly").
