2-18 FUEL SYSTEM
For the other than U.S.A., Canada and Taiwan .model:
apply heat transfer grease, and install the sensor [A] and
the heater  into the carburetor.
.Install the sensor lead, and tighten the plate [C] and the
clamp  with screw [E].
. Remove the carburetor (see Carburetor Removal).
Read the WARNING in the carburetor disassembly.
Mark carburetor locations so that the carburetors can be
installed in their original positions.
Disconnect the pipe and lead, leaving them connected to
Choke lever Plate [A]
Cylinder Side Connecting Plate 
Air Cleaner Side Connecting Plate [A]
Separate the carburetor.
The center lines of the carburetor bores must be parallel
both horizontally and vertically. If they are not, loosen
the mounting screws and align the carburetors on a flat
Retighten the mounting screws.
After installing the choke mechanism, check to see that
the starter plunger lever [A] slides right to left  smoothly
without abnormal friction.
Fuel mixture trouble could result if the starter
plunger does not seat properly in its rest position
after the choke lever is returned.
