■ UPDATING FIRMWARE

Note) The user memories (sound field parameters, system memory, tuner presetting, etc.) are preserved even after the
firmware is written.
When replacing the following parts, be sure to write the latest firmware.
DIGITAL P.C.B.
IC344 (Microprocessor FLASH ROM) of DIGITAL P.C.B.
IC373 (DSP FLASH ROM) of DIGITAL P.C.B.
● Required Tools
• USB storage device
• Firmware (YMC700xxxx.bin, YMC500xxxx.bin)
• TV with HDMI input terminal (for Confirmation of firmware version and checksum)
• HDMI cable (for Confirmation of firmware version and checksum)
● Preparation
1. Download the latest firmware from the specified download source to PC.
2. Copy the latest firmware from the PC to the root folder of the USB storage device.
Note) When the firmware is copied to a subfolder of the USB storage device, the update will not proceed.
