TO OBTAIN A CLEAR PICTURE A DVD player is a precision device. If the optical pick-up lens and disc drive parts become dirty or worn down, picture quality will become poor. To obtain a clear picture, regular inspection and maintenance are recommended every 1,000 hours of use, depending on the operating environment.Contact dealer for details.
5. Press the DISPLAY key again and the display turns off. VOLUME/MUTE The volume on this Norcent DVD player is easily controlled with the remote control by pressing either the VOL + key to raise the volume or the VOL- key to lower it. By pressing the MUTE key, no audio will be heard.
FINDING A TITLE With this Norcent DVD player, specific titles can be found using either the title menu function, if the DVD disc contains a title menu, or through its unique title number.
To resume normal playback, press the PLAY key. SLOW MOTION This Norcent DVD player also has the ability to play discs in slow motion in either forward or reverse direction. Each time the SLOW key is pressed, the speed will slow from 1/2, to 1/4, to 1/8normal speed.
It is possible to damage a disc if it is not placed correctly on the guides in the disc tray. This BLUE may also cause the DVD player to malfunction. Do not force or place anything other than a 5 GREEN inch DVD or CD onto the disc tray.
MAIN PAGE TV SYSTEM This Norcent DVD player supports output of various systems, including auto, NTSC, and PAL. If the TV set has only NTSC or PAL systems, the picture will blink and become colorless when the wrong system is selected. If this occurs, press the N/P key on the remote control to return to the normal screen.
CAPTIONS MAIN PAGE SCREEN LANGUAGE If an amplifier/decoder is being used with this DVD player and it has Dolby Digital output, the following selections may be made: stereo, left, right, or mixed sound accordingly.
