    1. Introduction The Nokia Wireless Headset (HS-56W) can be used with compatible phones that support Bluetooth wireless technology. This allows you the freedom to make and receive calls while on the move or in the office. Read this user guide carefully before using the headset. Read also the user guide for your phone, which provides important safety and maintenance information.

    ■ Chargers and batteries Check the model number of any charger before using it with this device. The Nokia Wireless Headset (HS-56W) is intended for use with the ACP-12 and LCH-12 chargers.

    4. Set the phone to search for Bluetooth devices. See the user guide of your phone for instructions. 5. Select the headset (Nokia HS-56W) from the list of found devices. 6. Enter the passcode 0000 to pair and connect the headset to your phone. In some phones you may need to make the connection separately after pairing.

    To switch the call from a compatible Nokia phone to the headset, press and hold the volume down key. On some phones you may need to press and hold the power/ call key and the volume down key simultaneously until the headset beeps.

    Recharge your battery only with Nokia approved chargers designated for this device. Unplug the charger from the electrical plug and the device when not in use. Do not leave a fully charged battery connected to a charger, since overcharging may shorten its lifetime.
