While the monitor is receiving a video signal, press and
hold the MENU button for more than 5 seconds until the
information box appears.
Press the MENU button again to make the box disappear.

Although the safety standard registered model name of this unit is
SDM-HS53/ and SDM-HS73/, the name of SDM-HS53 and
SDM-HS73 is used on sale and in this instruction manual.

Check these items
• Adjust the brightness and contrast (page 11).
• Adjust the pitch and phase (page 12).

• Set the resolution to XGA (1024 × 768) on your computer (SDM-HS53).
• Set the resolution to SXGA (1280 × 1024) on your computer (SDM-HS73).
• Eliminate the use of video cable extensions and/or video switch boxes.
• Check that all plugs are firmly seated in their sockets.
• Adjust the pitch and phase (page 12).
• Adjust the picture position (page 13). Note that some video modes do not fill the screen to
the edges.
