Changing the Tool
(See the Illustration A and B)
Before all work on the machine, pull the
power plug.
Use only cutting disks that correspond to the
characteristic data given in these operating
instructions.
Use only cutting disks whose allowable speed
is as high as the no-load speed of the machine.
Actuate the spindle lock only with the cutting
disk is at a standstill.
Removing the Cutting Disk
Place the machine in the working position.
Pull lever 19 upward and slide it alongside the
guide groove.
This pivots the retracting blade guard 14 upward
to the stop, where it is held in the open position.
Loosen wing bolt 17 and swing the cover lid 18
toward the rear.
Turn the hex-head bolt 24 with the wrench 8 (5
mm) provided while pressing the spindle lock
15 at the same time until it engages.
Hold the spindle lock depressed and unscrew
the hex-head bolt 24. Remove the washer 23
and the clamping flange 22.
Remove the cutting disk 20.
Installing the Cutting Disk
If necessary, clean all parts to be mounted.
Place the new cutting disk on the tool spindle 21
so that the label points away from the tool arm 3.
Place on the clamping flange 22, the washer 23
and the hex-head bolt 24. Press the spindle lock
15 until it engages and tighten the hex_head bolt
24 with a torque of approx. 18-20 Nm.
Swing cover lid 18 toward the front and tighten
wing bolt 17 again.
Slide lever 19 downward alongside the guide
groove again and at the same time swing the
retracting blade guard 14 downward until the
lever engages.

Adjusting the Miter Angle (See the
illustration B)
Before all work on the machine, pull the
power plug.
The miter angle can be set in the range from 0° to
45°. Often used setting values are identified on
the angle stop 13 with appropriate marking. The
0° and 45° positions are set at the end stops.
Loosen the two angle stop bolts 7 with the open-
end wrench 8 (13 mm) provided. Set the desired
angle and retighten the angle stop bolts.
Clamping the Work Piece

Before all work on the machine, pull the
power plug.
To ensure optimum working safety, the work
piece must always be firmly clamped.
Place the work piece against the angle stop 13.
Slide the clamping spindle 12 against the work
piece and clamp the work piece firmly with the
aid of the spindle 10.
Releasing the Work Piece
Loosen the spindle handle 10.
Swing up the quick release 11 and pull the
clamping spindle 12 away from the work piece.

Putting into Operation

Switching On and Off

To switch on the machine, press the on/off
switch 2 and hold it depressed.
To lock the on/off switch 2, slide the switch
lock 25 in the direction of the tool arm.
To switch off the machine, release the on/off
switch 2.
For locked on/off switch, press the on/off
switch completely in until the switch lock
releases and then release the on/off switch 2.
