Send caller ID
If your wireless service provider supports this feature, then you can prevent your
number from appearing on the receiving party's caller ID. See "Store a feature
code" on page 59 to see the caller ID option, if available, in your phone.
At the start screen, select Menu > Settings > Network services > Send my caller
ID > Yes or No.
View own phone number
At the start screen, select Menu > Settings > Network services > Own
number selection.

• NETWORK

Roaming options
You can choose whether your phone only uses your home area or automatically
searches for service in another area (roams).

At the start screen, select Menu > Settings > Network > Roaming options.

Scroll to one of the service options and press Select:
Home only—The phone works only when you are in your network's home area.
Automatic—The phone works both in your home area and when you have
traveled outside your home area.
Mode
You can choose whether your phone operates in digital or analog mode.

At the start screen, select Menu > Settings > Network > Mode.

Scroll to one of the following options and press Select:
Digital preferred—The phone searches for a digital signal first. If one is not
found, the phone searches for an analog signal.
Digital only—The phone only uses a digital signal.
Analog only—The phone only uses an analog signal.

• INFRARED

You can set up your phone to send or receive data (such as business cards or calendar
notes) through its IR port. See "Send a business card" on page 21 and"Calendar" on
page 36 for more information.
To use an IR connection, transmission and reception must be to or from an IR-
compatible phone or device. Do not point the IR beam at anyone's eye or allow it
to interfere with other IR devices. This device is a Class 1 laser product.
