Overview of the functions of the phone

The Nokia 6510 phone provides many functions which are very practical for daily use, such as Clock,
Alarm clock, Countdown timer, Games, Calculator, Calendar, Wallet and many more.

GPRS (General Packet Radio Service)

GPRS is a technology that allows mobile phones to be used for sending and receiving data over the
mobile network. GPRS as such is a data bearer that enables wireless access to data networks such as
the Internet. The applications that use GPRS are WAP, SMS messaging and the GPRS dial-up (for
example, Internet and e-mail).
Before you can use GPRS technology
• You need to subscribe to the GPRS service.
For availability and subscription to the GPRS service, contact your network operator or service
provider.
• You need to save the GPRS settings for the applications used over GPRS.
