Cannot adjust printhead.
Cause
The Printhead noz-
zles are clogged.
The Printhead can-
not be aligned;
highly transparent
film is loaded.
The Printhead is in-
stalled crooked.
Cannot adjust band.
Cause
The Printhead nozzles are
clogged.
Highly transparent film is
loaded that cannot be used
for automatic feed amount
adjustment.

Execute Auto Head Adj. again, as follows.
1. Press the Online button to clear the error.
2. Print a test pattern to check the nozzles.
(See "Checking for Nozzle Clogging.")
3. Clean the Printhead if the nozzles are clogged.
(See "Cleaning the Printhead.")
4. Execute Auto Head Adj. again.
(See "Automatic Straightening of Lines and Colors (Auto Head Adj.).")
Press the Online button to clear the error.
We recommend using a type of paper that you often use, other than film, for Printhead ad-
justment.
(See "Automatic Straightening of Lines and Colors (Auto Head Adj.).")
Straighten the Printhead as follows, and then execute Auto Head Adj. again.
1. Press the Online button to clear the error.
2. Use Head Inc. Adj. to adjust the angle of inclination of the Printhead.

3. Execute Auto Head Adj. again.
(See "Automatic Straightening of Lines and Colors (Auto Head Adj.).")
Execute Auto Band Adj. again, as follows.
1. Press the Online button to clear the error.
2. Print a test pattern to check the nozzles.
(See "Checking for Nozzle Clogging.")
3. Clean the Printhead if the nozzles are clogged.

4. Execute Auto Band Adj. again.
(See "Auto Band Adjustment (Auto Band Adj.).")
Press the Online button to clear the error, and then adjust the feed amount manually.
