Installing Main Unit
9 Check if the adjusted thickness of the
mounting bracket is appropriate.
Push in the lock plates on the mounting bracket
from the left and right firmly to lock it.
Check that the mounting bracket cannot be
mounted to the sun visor easily whilst the lock
plates are locked.
If the mounting bracket cannot be mounted to
the sun visor easily, the thickness is correct.
! If the mounting bracket can be mounted to
the sun visor easily whilst the lock plates are
locked, the mounting bracket thickness is not
appropriate.
Remove the mounting bracket from the sun
visor, return to step 3 and adjust the scale po-
sition, and then mount the mounting bracket
to the sun visor again.
10 Mount the mounting bracket of which
thickness was adjusted to the main unit.
Check that the diffuser and combiner of the
main unit are closed, and align the HUD lock
lever on the mounting bracket to the lock-re-
lease position.

Secure the mounting bracket and main unit at
four places at the front and back using the sup-
plied mounting screws.

2 Align the bosses with the groove.
Main unit back:

11 Loosen the four mounting screws that
were secured in step 10 one turn.
12 Loosen the longitudinal direction adjust-
ment screws on the unit one turn.
Main unit front:
13 Mount the unit to the sun visor.
Pull the lock plates on the mounting bracket to
the left and right to release the lock.
Push the sun visor up to the horizontal position.
Hold the left and right ends of lock plates on the
mounting bracket, and mount the unit to the
sun visor by pushing the mounting bracket all
the way in.
14 Push the sun visor down to the vertical
position.
15 Secure the unit to sun visor with a fall
prevention belt.
Pull the fall prevention belt forward from the
back of the sun visor that was pushed down to
the vertical position.
