PRESETTI NG FOR WI DE TELEV ISI ON SOFTWA RE
This is for presetting the picture format (a spect) on an o rdinary T V on which
wide screen DVD is t o be output.
°¥ The ratio o f an ordinary TV screen is 4:3(W:H) , and
that of wide TV or Hivisio n TV is 16:9. The rati o is
named 'ASPECT RATIO'.
°¥ Some DVDs do not correspond to Pan & Scan modes
or Letter Box mode.

In Pan & scan mode, the full height will be viewable.
°¥ The side portions of the original picture will be missing.
