Setting up your router using a mobile device (optional)
You can also use your mo�ile device such as a smartphone or a ta�let PC to set
up RT-AC68U through QIS �i�ard. The QIS �i�ard �ill automatically s�itch to
the mo�ile version if you use a smartphone or a ta�let PC to launch it.
To set up your router using a mo�ile device:
1. Turn on RT-AC68U.
2. Ena�le Wi-Fi function of your mo�ile device.
3. Search for the SSID ASUS, �hich is the default SSID
of your RT-AC68U �ireless net�ork. Click this SSID to
connect and �ait for the status to display Wi-Fi con-
nected.
4. Launch your mo�ile device �e� �ro�ser.
NOTE: If QIS does not launch automatically,
enter http://192.168.1.1 or http://router.asus.
com in the address �ar and refresh the �ro�ser
again. You can also use your mo�ile device to
scan for the QR code here to go to RT-AC68U's
�e� interface.
5. Assign your router login name and pass�ord, and
click Next. You �ill need this login name and pass-
�ord to log into RT-AC68U's �e� interface to vie� or
change router settings. Ensure that you take note of
your router login name and pass�ord for future use.
