2. Prepare your modem.

a. Unplug the AC adapter from the po�er outlet and disconnect it from your
ca�le/ADSL modem.
b. Disconnect the net�ork ca�le from your ca�le/ADSL modem.
c. Re�oot your computer (recommended).
WARNING! Before disconnecting the �ires/ca�les, ensure that your
ca�le/ADSL modem has �een turned off for at least t�o minutes. If your
modem has a �ackup �attery, remove it as �ell.
3. Set up your wireless environment.
