    ENCOdEd dIsCs PRECauTION CAUTION - when playing DTS encoded discs excessive noise will be heard on the analog output jacks of the DMS4 Digital Music Server. To avoid possible damage to the system you should ensure that the correct connections are made to your amplification system for replaying this type of disc.

    Instant access, irrespective of your music collection Whether you select a track by title, album, artist, or genre, your DMS4 Digital Music Server locates it instantly and plays it at the press of a key. All this is achieved with an extremely simple and intuitive user interface, operated using a few keys on the front panel or remote control.

    The Front Panel Interface section. DISPLAY The display shows information about the music available on the unit, the status of the DMS4 Digital Music Server (for instance if the unit is currently playing), and the current configuration of the unit. SELECT button Selects the option currently visible on the display.

The Audio Library The television user interface has been designed to allow easy navigation through the Audio Library and therefore give quick and easy access to your complete music collection in a number of different ways.

    To use the search function, press the 9 Search key on your DMS4 Digital Music Server remote control from any screen in the Audio Library. Choose to search either Tracks, Albums, Artists or Genres and press the O Select key. The below screen is displayed. Use the alphanumeric keypad to enter text and press the O OK key.

    DMS4 Digital Music Server. The PREV & NEXT buttons allow the user to skip to the previous or next song in the play queue of the DMS4. All of the user interface controls have VOLUME UP, VOLUME DOWN and MUTE which allow the user to adjust the volume level of the loud speakers in the room where the control is.
