Preparing the telephone

The package contains the following:

G one handset
G one power supply unit
G one telephone cable

G one set of operating instructions.

Installing the base station

Notes on the installation
The base station is designed for operation in rooms with a tempera-
ture range from +5 °C to +45 °C. Install the base station in a central
location in the home, for example in the hall.
G Avoid exposing your Gigaset to heat sources, direct sunlight

or other electrical equipment.
G Protect your Gigaset against moisture, dust, corrosive liquids
and vapours.
Range and reception strength
The base station range is approx. 300 m outdoors and up to 50 m in-
doors. The receive strength display shows the quality of the radio con-

tact between the base station and the handset:
