    Introduction Congratulations on your purchase of the Motorola Wireless Motion Sensor (WMS). Your sensor uses a heat/motion detector to scan a field 90 degrees wide up to a range of approximately 20 feet. This enables you to secure an area, regardless of day or night, rain or shine.

    Installation Overview Your package contains the following: Installing your sensor is a simple process. Twist the WMS clockwise at the seam in the middle and pull the two halves apart. Insert batteries. Register your sensor with your Wireless System Controller using a process called Discovery. Refer homesight Software User Guide for instructions on how to discover your Wireless Motion Sensor.

    Installation Hints Please consider the following points when mounting the sensor: • The sensor must be aimed so that it does not directly face the sun or any bright light; otherwise, this may cause damage to the sensor. • The Motorola Wireless Motion Sensor is constructed of UV-resistant ABS plastic.If installing the Wireless Motion Sensor outside, it should be shielded from the elements, such as underneath a porch roof.
