6. Hold the pedal when the gear noise stops (clutch pedal disengagement point).
7. Measure distance A (the distance from the clutch pedal disengagement point to the fully depressed position)
and the pedal stroke.
8. Verify that they are within specification.
• If distance A or the pedal stroke is out of
specification, adjust the pedal height or the
clutch pedal free play to specification.
Clutch pedal disengagement stroke
Minimum: 20 mm {0.79 in} (Reference value)
Pedal stroke
140.0 mm {5.51 in} (Reference value)

CLUTCH PEDAL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

1. Remove the battery and battery tray. (European (L.H.D.) and GCC specs.)
2. Remove in the order indicated in the table.
3. Install in the reverse order of removal.
4. After installation, adjust the clutch pedal. (See
