Note: We highly recommend that you choose Enterprise Level HDDs to achieve the best data
protection.
You can populate the DNS-1250-04 and DNS-1250-06 NAS systems with SATA 1.5 Gb/s or 3.0
Gb/s disk drives. For optimal performance, install disk drives of the same model and capacity.
Your disk drives become a RAID Volume on the NAS system.
To install physical drives:
1. Remove the drive carrier from the enclosure.
a. Slide the latch towards the left.
b. Press the button next to the latch.
C. Pull the latch to open the disk tray door and
then remove the disk tray from the enclosure.
