LUBRICATION SYSTEM
Measure the pump body clearance.
SERVICE LIMIT: 0.35 mm (0.014 in)
Measure the side clearance using a straight edge and
feeler gauge.
SERVICE LIMIT: 0.12 mm (0.005 in)

OIL PUMP (NC700XD/SD)

REMOVAL/INSTALLATION
Remove the right crankcase cover (page 12-97).
Remove the bolts [1] and oil pump [2].
Remove the O-rings [1] and dowel pins [2].
Installation is in the reverse order of removal.
• Replace the O-rings with new ones.
• Align the oil pump shaft end with the balancer shaft
groove.
