IGNITION SYSTEM
Remove the wire grommet [1] from the right crankcase
cover.
Remove the CKP sensor mounting bolts [2] and CKP
sensor [3].
Installation is in the reverse order of removal.
• Apply locking agent to the CKP sensor mounting bolt
threads (page 1-23).
• Apply locking agent to the right crankcase cover wire
clamp bolt threads (page 5-4).
• Apply sealant to the wire grommet seating surface
and grommet mating surface.
TORQUE:
Right crankcase cover wire clamp bolt:
12 N·m (1.2 kgf·m, 9 lbf·ft)
