Note: If you are removing the harness to use the child
restraint as a belt-positioning booster, skip step 4

Remove Harness Guides
Remove both lower harness
guides in bottom of seat.
Lay the seat on its front
and locate harness guides
(A).
Insert a flat head screw
driver into the hole where
the harness guide is
located.
Place the screw driver's tip
between shell and harness
guide, then twist the
screw driver while pulling
the harness guide from the
front. Repeat for other
side.
5.
Locate Buckle's Metal
Retainer
Fully recline the child
restraint. Reach under the
seat between base and
shell.
6.
Insert Metal Retainer
Through Shell and Pad
Locate buckle's metal
retainer under the shell.
Rotate metal retainer, then
insert retainer up through
the shell and pad.
7.
Remove Buckle from
Child Restraint
From the top, pull buckle
free from shell and pad.

1.
Install Buckle
Fit the buckle's metal
retainer through the slot in
the seat. Red button must
face out.
Pull buckle's metal retainer
completely through pad
and shell from bottom
of seat.
