Ambient air temperature

The instrument panel displays the ambient
temperature in the set unit of measurement (°C or
°F), followed by the set unit of measurement, the
message AIR and the thermometer symbol. The
temperature value is displayed when ranging from
-39 °C to +124 °C (or -38 °F ÷ +255 °F). For any
different temperature (below -39 °C (-38 °F) or above
+124 °C (+255 °F)) a string of three dashes " - - - " is
steadily displayed, followed by the unit of
measurement.
If the air temperature sensor is in fault, the
instrument panel will show three flashing dashes " - -
- " as air temperature value, followed by the unit of
measurement, the EOBD light will turn on and the
corresponding error (T AIR SENSOR) is displayed. If
the instrument panel is not receiving air temperature
value, a string of three steady dashes "- - -" is
displayed, followed by the unit of measurement.
Note
When the motorcycle is stopped, the engine
heat could influence the displayed temperature.
