    Quick Start To attach the MultiSync LCD monitor to your system, follow these instructions: 1. Turn off the power to your computer. 2. For the PC or MAC with DVI digital output: Connect the DVI signal cable to the connector of the display card in your system (Figure A.1).

Raise and Lower Monitor Screen The monitor may be raised or lowered in either Portrait or Landscape mode. To raise or lower screen, place hands on each side of the monitor and lift or lower to the desired height (Figure RL.1).

    Controls OSM (On-Screen Manager) control buttons on the front of the monitor function as follows: To access OSM menu, press any of the control buttons (EXIT, To change signal input, press the SELECT button. When current video input signal is not present, then the monitor searches for a video signal from the other video input port. If the video signal is present in the other port, then the monitor switches the video source input port to the new found video source automatically.

If ON is selected, a message will appear on the screen after 30 seconds, notifying you that the resolution is not at 1280 x 1024. HOT KEY: You can adjust the brightness and contrast directly.

    NOTE: As with all personal display devices, NEC DISPLAY SOLUTIONS recommends displaying moving images and using a moving screen saver at regular intervals whenever the screen is idle or turning off the monitor when not in use.

NaViSet: Is a ground-breaking software family, developed by NEC Display Solutions Europe GmbH, providing intuitive access to all monitor setting controls and remote diagnosis via the Windows interface, based upon the VESA standard, DDC/CI. Using a standard VGA or DVI signal cable, NaViSet can either benefit single users or, with NaViSet Administrator, can reduce the Total Cost of Ownership through remote network-wide maintenance, diagnosis and asset-reporting.
