Image Dimensional Adjustment

3.2.1 General description
There are several adjustment items in the image dimensional adjustment, as listed below. When adjust-
ing these items, the following adjustment order should strictly be observed.
1 Paper alignment at the registration roller
2 Printer related (a) Reproduction ratio of primary scanning direction
adjustment (Fine adjustment of polygonal motor rotation
speed)
(b) Primary scanning data laser writing start position
(c) Reproduction ratio of secondary scanning direc-
tion
(Fine adjustment of main motor rotation speed)
(d) Secondary scanning data laser writing start posi-
tion
(e) Primary scanning data laser writing start position
at duplexing
3 Scanner related (a) Image distortion
adjustment
(b) Reproduction ratio of primary scanning direction
(c) Image location of primary scanning direction
(d) Reproduction ratio of secondary scanning direc-
tion
(e) Image location of secondary scanning direction
(f) Top margin
(g) Right margin
(h) Bottom margin
