Sealed Burners
The panel light is turned on by"pushing

The sealed burners of your range are secured to the
switch on the control panel. It may be turned off by
cooktop and are not designed to be removed.

Pilotless Ignition
Be sure all surface controls are set in the OFF position

prior to supplying gas to the range.
Your range is equipped with a pilotless ignition system
which eliminates the need for a constant standing pilot
light. Each surface burner has a spark ignitor. When
cleaning around the surface burner, use care, If a dean-
ing cloth should catch the ignitor, it could damage it.
The
burner
grates
must
be

properly
positioned
before

cooking. When reinstalling
the
grates, place the indented
sides
together so the straight sides are
at the front and rear. Improper

result in chipping of the cooktop.
PORTBELOWIGNITOR
Although
the burner
grates
are durable,
they will
gradually lose their shine clue to high temperatures.
NOTE: The surface burner will not light if the ignitor is
damaged,
broken, soiled or wet. Also, the burner will
not light if the small port beneath the ignitor is blocked.
