3. UNPACKING 3.1. At least 2 people are required to unpack the log splitter. 3.2. Put the log splitter on the ground and tip the carton to rest it on a suitable block (B) undo the bottom of the package and fold out the first part of the cover, then rotate box to do the remaining three parts of the cover.
6. ASSEMBLY 6.1. Put washers as shown, then a wheel followed by the axle. Push axle through the wheel, then through the 3 washers, through frame and fasten with the spring clip .Finally place the wheel cover. Repeat for second wheel. 6.2.

7.10. Place log onto splitter. 7.10.1. Place the log onto the support table vertically and sitting flat on the support table. 7.10.2. Make sure the wedge and support table makes contact with the log squarely on the ends. 7.10.3. NEVER attempt to split a log at an angle. ALWAYS split log in the direction of its growing grain.

7.14.3.2. Make sure that no dirt or debris finds its way into the oil tank. 7.14.4. Collect used oil and recycle used oil in a responsible way by taking it to a recycling centre. 7.14.5. Following an oil change, use the log splitter a few times without actually splitting any logs.
