    Safety Notes for operating and technical staff Operating staff 05.01 Operating staff are the persons responsible for setting up, operating and cleaning the machine and for removing any disturbances in the sewing area. The operating staff must be sure to observe the following items: always observe the notes on safety in this instruction manual in their work! refrain from any working methods which adversely effect the safety of the machine! avoid wearing loose clothing or jewelry such as necklaces or rings!

    The control panels switches on all LCD-segments and the horn automatically for a short time during the power-on phase, after which the lette- ring PFAFF appears on the display, until the higher-ranking control unit sends commands to the control panel.

    Clean hook area with a brush daily, in continuous operation several times daily. Cleaning the hook On the PFAFF 333-712/02 open the flap or on the PFAFF 333-712/03 remove the cylinder bed cover. Set needle bar at its highest position.

    Adjustment Adjustment Unless stated otherwise, during all adjustment work the machine must be disconnected from the electric and pneumatic power supply! Danger of injury if the machine is started accidentally! Notes on adjustment All adjustments in this instruction manual refer to a completely assembled machine and must only be carried out by appropriately trained technical personnel.
