Adjusting the Cutting Angle
(see figure B)
Before any work on the power tool itself,
pull the mains plug.
The miter angle can be set in a range from 0° to
45°.
Frequently used miter angles are identified on
the angle stop 13 with appropriate markings.
The 0° and 45° position are set at the respec-
tive end stop.
– Loosen both angle stop bolts 7 with the box-
end wrench 8 (size 13 mm) provided.
– Adjust the requested angle and tighten the
angle stop bolts again.
Clamping the Workpiece
(see figure C)
To ensure optimum working safety, the work-
piece must always be firmly clamped.
Do not cut workpieces that are too small to
clamp.
– Place the workpiece against the angle stop
13.
– Slide the clamping spindle 14 against the
workpiece and firmly clamp the workpiece
with the spindle handle 16.
Releasing the Workpiece
– Loosen the spindle handle 16.
– Tilt up the quick release 15 and pull the
clamping spindle 14 away from the work-
piece.

Starting Operation
(see figure D)
Switching On and Off (3 601 L17 0..)
– For starting operation, press the On/Off
switch 2 and keep it pressed.
– To lock the On/Off switch, push the lock-on
button 22 in the direction of the tool arm.
– To switch off the machine, release the
On/Off switch 2.
When the On/Off switch is locked on, press
the On/Off switch through until the lock-on is
disengaged and then release the On/Off
switch.
Switching On and Off (3 601 L17 041)
– For starting operation, push the lock-on but-
ton 22 in the direction of the tool arm.
Then press the On/Off switch 2 and keep it
pressed.
Note: For safety reasons, the On/Off switch 2
cannot be locked on but must remain pressed
during operation.
– To switch off the machine, release the
On/Off switch 2.
Working Instructions
Before any work on the power tool itself,
pull the mains plug.
General Cutting Instructions
Protect the cutting disc against impact and
shock. Do not subject the cutting disc to lateral
pressure.
Do not strain the power tool so heavily that it
comes to a standstill.
Excessive feed considerably reduces the perfor-
mance capability of the machine and shortens
the service life of the cutting disc.
Use only cutting discs that are suitable for the
material to be worked.
