■ Deleting Scanned Data

A specific page can be deleted from the scanned data shown on the scan viewer details
window.
The scanned data from which a specific page was deleted is sent by e-mail or fax and is
printed or saved to the network folder as it is.
1. Display a page to be deleted.
2. Press
 A message that confirms the deletion appears.
3. Press the [OK] button.
 The page is deleted.

5.11.4 Editing Scanned Data on the [Assisted Scan] Window

Assisted scan is a function that assists an adjustment of scanned data to get the best
image.
Adjustments can be made by processing the new scanned data on the [Assisted Scan]
window to get the best result.
When assisted scan is used, only one document at a time can be scanned even if more
than one document is loaded in the ADF paper chute.
HINT
 The scanned data is edited once an adjustment is made on the [Assisted Scan] window.
 If the carrier sheet setting is set to any other setting besides [Off], assisted scan cannot start.
 When a file is split, assisted scan cannot be used for the image of a patch code sheet.
 When a patch code sheet is scanned with assisted scan, it is scanned as a normal
document, not a separator.
