4. Turn the socket and bulb assembly to
remove it. Carefully remove the bulb
from its socket in the reflector by
gently pulling it straight backward out
of the socket.
5. Install the new bulb in the reverse order
of removal.
6. (3.7-liter engine)
Install the coolant reservoir. If you are
unsure of how tight the bolts should be,
have them inspected at an Authorized
Mazda Dealer.
Bolt tightening torque
N·m (kgf·m, ft·lbf)
(0.8 1.1, 5.8 8.0)
NOTE
To replace the bulb, contact an Authorized
l
Mazda Dealer.
If the halogen bulb is accidentally touched,
l
it should be cleaned with rubbing alcohol
before being used.
Use the protective cover and carton for the
l
replacement bulb to dispose of the old bulb
promptly and out of the reach of children.
Low-beam bulb
(Xenon fusion bulb)
You cannot replace the low beam bulbs by
yourself.

(Halogen bulbs)
1. If you are changing the right headlight
2. Make sure the ignition is switched off,
