CONTROLLO RAPPORTO DI
COMPRESSIONE
Per verificare se il rapporto di
compressione è corretto,
procedere nel modo seguente .
a) rimuovere dal basamento il
cilindro completo di testa;
b) togliere il pistone dalla biella,
pulirlo accuratamente, inserirlo
nel cilindro sino al contatto con
il corrispondente profilo sulla
camera di scoppio (anch'essa
pulita dalle incostrazioni).
c) avvitare nel foro candela un
comparatore ed azzerarlo sulla
posizione del pistone indicata
nella figura A;
d) togliere il pistone e rimontarlo
sulla biella lasciando avvitato
sulla testa il comparatore;
e) rimontare il cilindro completo di
testa interponendo sul
basamento la guarnizione con
spessore 0,4 mm;
f) portare il pistone al P.M.S. e
verificare la lettura sul
comparatore che dovrà essere:
1,2 mm;
g) in caso di lettura differente,
ripristinare la condizione
corretta utilizzando una
guarnizione base cilindro di
spessore adeguato.

CONTROL
To check if the compression ratio
is correct, proceed as follows;
a) remove the cylinder together
with the head from the block;
b) remove the piston from the
connecting rod, properly clean
it, insert it in the cylinder till it
touches the corresponding
profile on the explosion
chamber (this chamber too
must be free from
incrustations);
c) screw a comparator in the
sparking plug hole and reset it
on the piston position as
decribed at fig. A;
d) remove the piston and
reassemble it on the
connecting rod;
e) remount the cylinder together
with the head by placing a
0.0157 in. gasket on the block;
f) place the piston at the top
dead center and control the
reading on the comparator,
which must be: 0.047;
g) in case of different readings,
reset the right condition by
using a cylinder base gasket
having the right thickness.

COMPRESSION
Pour vérifier si le rapport de
compression est correct, agir de
la façon suivante:
a) enlever du soubassement le
cylindre avec les têtes;
b) enlever le piston de la bielle, le
nettoyer soigneusement,
l'introduire dans le cylindre
jusqu'au contact avec le profil
correspondent sur la chambre
d'explosion (elle même doit
être nettoyée);
c) visser un comparateur dans le
siège de la bougie et le
remettre à zéro sur la position
du piston décrite au fig. A;
d) enlever le piston et le remonter
sur la bielle;
e) remonter le cylindre complet
de tête en interposant, sur le
soubassement, une garniture
avec épaisseur 0,4 mm;
f) régler le piston au point mort
supérieur et vérifier que la lecture
sur le comparateur soit : 1,2 mm
g) en cas de lecture différente,
restaurer la condition correcte
en utilisant une garniture de la
base du cylindre avec un
épaisseur convenable.
KONTROLLE DES VERDICHTUN-
GSVERHÄLTNISSES
Um zu überprüfen, ob das
Verdichtungsverhältnis korrekt ist,
wie folgt vorgehen;
a) den Zylinder mit den Köpfen vom
Kurbelgehäuse beseitigen;
b) den Kolben von der Stange
abnehmen, ihn sorgfältig reinigen,
ihn in den Zylinder einstecken, bis
zum Kontakt mit dem
entsprechenden Profil auf dem
Verdichtungsraum (ebenfalls von
den Verkrustungen gereinigt);
c) Ein Komparator im
Zündkerzeloch einschrauben und
es auf der Stellung, wie unter Fig.
A beschrieben, nullen;
d) den Kolben abnehmen und ihn
auf der Stange
wiederzusammenbauen;
e) den Zylinder mit den Köpfen
durch Zwischenlegen der
Dichtung mit 0,4 mm. Dicke auf
dem Kurbelgehäuse
wiederzusammenbauen;
f) den Kolben zum OT bringen und
prüfen, dass der Wert auf dem
Komparator: 1,2 mm;
g) Im Falle von verschiedenen
Werten, die korrekte Lage bei
Verwendung einer Dichtung für
Zylinderbasis mit angemessener
Dichte rückstellen.
