Machine will not turn on
Opening display screens (V1.1) does
not change from 0,00 Hz on the
variable speed drives when I switch
my machine from STOP to RUN
Opening display screen (V.1.1) stays
on 0,00 Hz on only one of the varible
speed drives when I switch my
machine from STOP to RUN
Display screen when on frequency
reference display (V1.1.2) will not go
all the way to 80 Hz on the large
variable speed drive
Display screen when on frequency
reference display (V1.1.2) will not go
all the way to 120 Hz on the small
variable speed drive
Display screen when on frequency
reference display (V1.1.2) will not go
all the way to 100 Hz on the variable
speed drive
DC link voltage (screen V1.18) is less
then 550 +/- 5V when the machine is in
stand by
DC link voltage (screen V1.18) is
less then 500+/- 5V when the
machine is in operation
MAINTENANCE
Possible Cause
The incoming power cable is not live
The EMERGENCY STOP button is
engaged
The safety circuit breaker is open inside
the electrical cabinet
Problem with the contactor on the back
of the POWER button
Problem with the connection of the wires
to STOP/RUN switch or with the
contactor on the back of the STOP/RUN
switch
Problem with the electrical connection
from STOP/RUN switch to on of the
FWD/REV switches
Problem with the wire connection from
FWD/REV switch to the frequency
inverter or with the contactor on the back
of the FWD/REV switch
Problem with the head speed
potentiometer on the control panel near
the handle bars
Problem with the wiring communications
into the variable speed drive
Problem with the data and programming
of the variable speed drive
Problem with the disc speed

Potential Solution
Check that incoming power is turned on
Twist the Emergency Stop button to
release
Close circuit breaker to complete the
circuit
Check that wires are connected and firm
on the back of the POWER button as on
machine model schematic. Check that
the contactor is engaging when the
POWER button is pressed.
Check that the stop run switch wires
inside the control panel are connected
and firm and are engaging and
disengaging when switch is turned.
Check that linkage wires between STOP/
RUN switch and the FWD/REV switches
are connected and firm as machine
model schematic
Check that linkage wires between FWD/
REV switches and frequency inverter are
firm and correct as machine model
schematic. Check that the contactor is
completely engaging and disengaging
when switch is turned.
Check wires into potentiometer, as
machine model schematic. Replace
potentiometer if needed.
Check the control panel cable and cable
into variable speed drive terminals for
damages
Re-programming required. Machine
needs to be checked by a Husqvarna
service agent
