Battery Removal
1. Remove the right side cover (page 32).
2. Disconnect the negative (–) terminal lead (1) from
the battery first, then disconnect the positive (+)
terminal lead (2).
3. Disconnect the battery breather tube (3).
4. Remove the bolts (5) and battery holder (4).
5. Pull out the battery.

Fuse Replacement

(Refer to the Safety Precautions on page 43.
When frequent fuse failure occurs, it usually indicates
a short circuit or an overload in the electrical system.
See your Honda dealer for repair.
NOTICE
Never use a fuse with a different rating from that
specified. Serious damage to the electrical system or a
fire may result, causing a dangerous loss of lights or
engine power.
