Livello olio motore

Nei motori 4T l'olio motore viene utilizzato
per lubrificare gli organi dell distribuzione, i
supporti di banco e il gruppo termico. Un
quantitativo insufficiente di olio può provo-
care gravi danni al motore stesso. In tutti i
motori 4T il decadimento delle caratteristiche
dell'olio, cosi come un certo consumo, sono da
ritenersi normali. I consumi in particolare
potranno risentire delle condizioni d'uso (es.:
guidando sempre "in pieno gas" il consumo di
olio aumenta).
In funzione del contenuto totale di olio nel
motore e dei consumi medi rilevati secondo
modalità standardizzate vengono definite le
frequenze di sostituzione previste dal program-
ma di manutenzione.
Allo scopo di prevenire qualsiasi incon-
veniente, si raccomanda di controllare il
livello dell'olio ogni volta che si utilizza il
veicolo. Il veicolo è inoltre dotato de una
spia di segnalazione della pressione olio
inserita nella strumentazione.
Verifica livello
Ogni volta che si utilizza il veicolo, a motore
freddo, deve essere effettuata la verifica del
livello dell'olio motore, che deve risultare com-
preso tra gli indici di MAX e MIN come in fig. 1
riportari sull'astina; durante il controllo il veicolo
deve essere con il cavalletto poggiato su

Engine oil level

In four-stroke engines the engine oil is used
to lubricate the valve gear, the main bearings
and the cylinder/piston assembly. Insufficient
lubrication can result in irreparable damage
to the engine. Deteriora-tion of the oil quality
and slight oil consumption are perfectly normal
in all four-stroke engines. Oil consumption will
vary depending on the way the vehicle is used
(e.g. high revving and high speed riding will
result in increased oil consumption). The oil
change intervals defined in the maintenance
schedule are calculated on the basis of the
total quality of oil in the engine and average
consumption values based on standardizet
parameters. To prevent possible problems,
alwys check the oil level before using the
vehicle.
Also monitor the oil warning indicator on
the instrument panel.
Level check
Every time you run the vehicle, check the oil
with engine cold Make sure the oil level is bet-
ween the MAX and MIN marks on the dipstick,
as shown in fig. 1, and that the vehicle is res-
ting on a flat surface during the level check.
The MAX level mark shown in fig. 1 indicates a

Bei 4-Taktmotren wird das Motoröl zur
Schmierung der Ventlisteuerung, der Hauptlager
und der Zylinder-/Kolbeneinheit verwendet. Ein
nicht ausreichende Ölmenge kann schwere
Motorschäden verusachen. Bei allen
Viertaktmotoren ist ein bestimmter Ölverbrauch
und eine Verschlechterung der Öleigenschaften
normal. Der Ölverbrauch wir stark durch die
Einsatzbedingungen des Fahrzeugs bestimmt (z.
B. bei häufigen Vollgasfahrten erhöht sich der
Ölverbrauch).
Abhängig vom Öl-Gesamtinhalt im Motor und
von mittleren Verbrauchswerten, die nach
standardisierten Testläufen festgestellt wurden,
werden für die programmierte Wartung die
Abstände zwischen den einzelnen Ölwechsel
festgelegt. Um Störungen zu vermeiden,
empfehlen wir Ihnen den Ölstand vor jedem
Fahrtantritt zu kontrollieren. Das Fahrzeug ist
außerdem mit einer Öldruck-Kontrollampe
ausgestattet. Diese Kontrollampe befindet
sich am Armaturenbrett.
ÖLSTANDKONTROLLE
Vor jedem Fahrtantritt mit kaltem Motor muß
der Motorölstand überprüft werden. Der
Motorölstand am Ölmeßstab muß zwischen den
Zeichen MIN und MAX liegen (siehe Fig. 1.).
Während der Ölstandkontrolle muß das
Fahrzeug aufgebockt auf einer ebenen
Unterfläche stehen. Die Markierung MAX
