Possible cause and remedy
The coffee machine has overheated.
^ Switch the machine off with the On/Off button. Wait for
one hour and then switch it back on again.
^ If this fault message appears in the display again,
contact Miele.
There is too much ready ground coffee in the ground
coffee chute.
If more than one level scoop of ground coffee is added to
the coffee chute, the brew unit cannot process the coffee.
The ground coffee will be directed into the waste container
and the fault message will appear in the display.
^ Switch the machine off with the On/Off - button. Wait for
two minutes and then switch it back on again.
The brew unit cannot be positioned correctly.
^ Switch the machine off with the On/Off - button.
^ Press the . and / buttons at the same time. Then press
the OK button twice.
This will initialise the brew unit motor and the brew unit will
move into its starting position.
If the fault message appears in the display again,
^ call Miele.
