Store numbers and names in the directory

1. Press DIRECTORY. Then press CALL LIST
CALL LIST
2. Press OPTIONS, the screen displays ENTER
NUMBER.
3. Enter the telephone number (up to 24 digits)
you want to store.
LOWER

Press REDIAL to store the last number dialed.
NOTE: If the redialed number is longer than
24 digits, you will hear an error tone if you are
lifting the handset or the speakerphone is
activated while storing the number. The number
cannot be stored.
Press OPTIONS, and the screen displays ENTER

5. Use the characters chart on page 22 to enter a
name (up to 15 characters).
Use CALL LIST
to advance or add a space. When you want
to enter two characters in a row that share a
dial pad key (for example M and O), you must
press CALL LIST
next position. The screen automatically returns
to idle mode if you do not press a dial pad key
within 15 seconds.
6. Press OPTIONS to store the name and number.

Store a pause or flash in a directory number

Press CALL LIST
LOWER

saving changes, press CLEAR.
