2. Place the Display in the fixture.
3. Starting in the middle of side 1, use cotton swabs
and ISP Alcohol to clean the Display bonding
surface in the sequence shown.
4. Wait for the ISP Alcohol to dry.
Do not use the same cotton swabs to clean with
ISP Alcohol and apply 3M AP-111 Adhesion
Promoter. The Display will not properly adhere to
the Housing if the cotton swabs are reused. The
cotton swabs may be reused for 2 applications
then must be thrown away.
5. Starting in the middle of side 1, use cotton swabs
to apply 3M AP-111 Adhesion Promoter to the
Display bonding surface in the sequence shown.
6. Wait for the 3M AP-111 Adhesion Promoter to
dry.
7. Verify that the Battery Connector is disconnected
and the Display Flex ZIF Connector Door is
open.
Failure to disconnect the Battery Connector may
result in damage to the Display. If the Display Flex
ZIF Connector Door is closed, the Display Flex
ZIF Connector may be damaged.
8. Remove the Display from the Lens Assembly
Fixture (4-00-W9-10000).
